Nhi Nguyen is an illustrator graduate from OCAD University, Toronto, Canada.
Creating art has always been her passion and being an illustrator compassed her to the way achieving her artistic goal - to bring eyes to lands of stories and dimensions of dreams. As an illustrator, her artistic approach belongs to romantic and spiritual orientation, surrealism, and bold statement with touches of symbolism and metaphors.

Best season of the year in Toronto
No matter how many time I am going to experience winter, my answer will always be winter. I don't care if there is a snow storm outside, I just always fond of walking under the snow and the cold. Plus, Christmas is a big big PLUS!
Favourite book
Definitely "The Shack"! I have read it five times in English and sevent times in Vietnamese; I will never be able to express how much I adore this book for it has helped me growing a lot in faith.
Favourite musical artist / band right now
Il Volo! Very talented trio from Italy who sing pop music operatically. They are very inspirational like very VERY inspirational since very young age. The way they keep up with their dream and passion for music is just amazing. Music genres they touch on includes Italian (and English) romantic music and opera.

What do you listen to when you work?
Opera. I think it is amazing to realize how music, and particularly opera, can make such impacts on one's mind no matter that was in the past, present, or will be in the future. The whole composition of an opera will always inspired me and lit up my dream no matter what kind of dream it is.
Favourite medium
Almost every traditional art and painting material: ink, pencil colour, gouache, acrylic, pastel, water colour, etc - you name it. I work on collage sometimes so illustrative
